Westborough, MA

The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife Field Headquarters in Westborough, MA is the Commonwealth’s first “Net-Zero” Energy office building. The new 45,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, high-energy performance building is sited on a bluff that overlooks a 1,000-acre picturesque wildlife management area. The project received a LEED Platinum rating from the US Green Building Council and a Silver Award at the 2017 Engineering Excellence Awards from the Massachusetts American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Green served as the civil engineering consultant on this high-profile demonstration project for the MA Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM). The site design involved extensive earthwork and site grading. Green was also responsible for the design of storm-water management systems, water services, sanitary sewer service, pavement design, and the design of Tel/Com duct banks and vaults, including coordination with the Town of Westborough Department of Public Works. We also provided construction contract administration for the project.
