Ko Ishikura, PE

President & CEO

BIO

Ko Ishikura is the President and CEO at Green. He is a very hands-on leader who is willing to help employees in anything they’re doing. Ko has been at Green for 30 years and has seen it grow from a small company to an organization of 100 employees. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Osaka University. He is responsible for ensuring everything at Green runs smoothly. When he is not in the office, Ko can be found practicing his swing on a golf course or practicing at home to play guitar like Eric Clapton.

Adel Shahin, PE

Senior Vice President

BIO

Adel Shahin is a Vice President at Green and has 23 years of professional experience. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Massachusetts at Lowell and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts since 2002. He has successfully managed sizeable and complex Conventional and Design-Build civil and bridge projects for state Department of Transportation clients.  When he has free time, he spends it with kids, catching up on reading, and watching soccer games.

Frank Tramontozzi, PE

Senior Vice President

BIO

Frank A. Tramontozzi, PE is a Registered Professional Engineer and Licensed Construction Supervisor. He joined Green as Senior Vice President in 2011 after serving as the first MassDOT – Highway Division Chief Engineer and as the last Chief Engineer of MassHighway. Previously, Frank served as Commissioner of the Boston Transportation Department. Frank has over 40 years of professional engineering experience and expertise in infrastructure policy, planning, design and construction. He serves on the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, is a Fellow with the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE)(Past President of New England Section of ITE) and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). In his free time, Frank enjoys spending time with family, boating, and cruising.

Mike Cruz, PE

Bridge Design Group Leader

BIO

Mike recently completed his 20th year with Green and has 25 years of overall experience in the inspection, load rating, and design of bridges. He is a graduate of the Civil Engineering program at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell and is a registered structural engineer in all New England states. Mike is an active participant in the Boston Chapter of ASCE’s Structural Engineering Institute, where he currently serves as the committee’s vice-chair. When not at work, he enjoys traveling the country and visiting our nation’s national parks with his wife and two children.

Danielle Spicer, PE, LEED AP, ENV SP

BIO

Danielle Spicer is a registered Professional Engineer in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  Her career spans 20 years and encompasses a wide range of civil/site projects for federal, state and municipal clients.  As a Senior Project Manager, she has been successfully incorporating resilient and sustainable practices into proposed land development projects and helping Green’s clients meet the triple-bottom line of sustainability. She also has an in-depth understanding of permitting requirements critical to the success of any project. She is a LEED Accredited Design Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council, an accredited Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) with the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. She is currently serving as an American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Region 1 Governor and is a Past-President of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section/ASCE. Danielle enjoys cheering her kids on at their sporting events.

Shahin Shahin, PE, LEED AP, ENV SP

BIO

Shahin, a Professional Engineer and a Group Leader, has 23 years of experience. Shahin holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from UMASS Lowell. He also has a US Green Building Council LEED AP and an Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) ENV SP Certifications. Shahin has been involved in all aspects of civil engineering services, such as drainage design, stormwater management, environmental permitting, utility design, water resources and hydrologic/hydraulic analyses. He enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, ping pong, and soccer.

Gabe Gabrielli, PE

Bridge Inspection Group Leader

BIO

Gabe is a graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is the Bridge Inspection Group Leader at Green. Throughout his career, he found his interests and strengths were in structural engineering. Since he earned his Professional Engineer’s Civil license, bridge and structure inspection and evaluation has been his passion.

With his free time, Gabe enjoys carpentry as well as gardening, being outdoors, volunteer coaching (for the kids) and other community volunteer support organizations, cooking, feeding people, bad jokes, and being with the family.

Corinne Tobias, PE, PTOE

Transportation Group

BIO

Corinne is a licensed Professional Engineer and certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer and a Project Manager at Green with 10 years of transportation engineering experience. She specializes in traffic impact studies, long term planning studies, road safety audits, intersection and corridor improvements, traffic signals, roundabouts, traffic management plans, and land use management. Corinne is a proud member of the Women in Transportation Society (WTS) and the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). When she is not at work, Corinne is an avid skier and enjoys trying new foods.

Dennis Vertiyev, PE

Project Manager, 

Transportation Group

BIO

Dennis has been with Green full-time since graduating from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2012, although he also previously served as a co-op several times while in school. He has worked on a variety of civil and transportation projects throughout New England, with much of his career focused on projects in Vermont. As a Project Manager in the Transportation Group, Dennis is responsible for projects of varying complexity and scope and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple New England States. Outside of the office, Dennis enjoys volunteering at his church and summer camp, and backpacking and camping with his wife and two daughters but always loves coming home to his “mini” farm.

Matt LaPlante, PE

Project Manager, Structural Group

BIO

Matt joined Green’s Structural Group in 2021 as a Project Manager with several years of work experience focusing on bridge inspection and load ratings. Matt obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer for all New England states as well as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). During his free time, Matt loves to play with his dogs, go hiking, play disc golf, tend his garden, travel, play board games, learn about investing, and spend time with his wife.

Tiffany Card, PE

BIO

Tiffany joined Green’s Structural Group in 2016, with several years of work experience before then. She feels lucky to have successfully turned her fascination with bridges into a career focusing on bridge design, ratings, and inspection. Tiffany received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University where she was also a member of their D1 Women’s Tennis Team. She went on to get a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University by taking night courses as she worked full time. In her free time Tiffany loves anything outdoors. She and her fiancé are avid hikers who recently finished the 48 4,000 footers in the White Mountains. They try to make frequent trips up north and out west to hike, backpack, rock climb, and mountain bike. She also loves to cook and experiment with new recipes and cultures in the kitchen.

Ripal Shah, PE

Project Manager, Structural Group

BIO

Ripal Shah attended University of Massachusetts at Lowell for his master’s degree in civil engineering and graduated in 2001. He is a Project Manager at Green with decades of experience in bridge design, construction, inspection, and rating. Ripal is a license Professional Structural Engineer in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. He likes to work on challenging bridge design projects and has worked on many bridge designs. In his spare time, he likes to watch and play cricket and tennis, gardening, and home renovation projects.

Bhikhu Khalifa, PE

Structural Group Technical Leader

BIO

Bhikhu is Green’s Structural Group Technical Leader. He holds both a Professional Structural Engineer and a Professional Civil Engineer license and has 38 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has acquired a broad range of structural engineering experience and has developed a keen ability to solve non-traditional structural engineering challenges. His work includes the design and inspection of bridges, tunnels, buildings, water treatment plants, vaults, pump houses, dry dock structures, dolphins, transfer bridges, underpass structures, underpinning, environmental structures, ancillary highway structures, parking garages, retaining structures, and caissons. Bhikhu enjoys gardening, home renovation projects, carpentry work, listening to Indian music, and playing cricket.
